About the Trust

The Bengaluru Educational & Social Trust was established in 2020 with an aim to imbibe quality education to rural. Being proud citizen of the second highest populated nation, and with such large pool of human resources, we always wondered about their abilities to self-sustain.

The main purpose of the trust is to change in the process of transformation of knowledge at schools and colleges by integrating technology in education. Also, to aim at providing quality transfer of knowledge at different levels of society, equality to all irrespective of caste, category or class.

To the benefit of students and society at large in the field of education and its correlated social activities.
To fund for the benefit of the beneficiaries to cater to the educational needs and expenses.
To initiate and participate in on-going research and trials in the field of education, it’s correlated social activities to cater for the betterment of society at large.
To coordinate with similar organizations and government programmes related to education and its correlated social activities.
To provide necessary facilities and conduct educative programmes related to scientific research development and education in any place in India.
To establish schools, colleges, training centre and any other education institutions for upliftment of society.
To organise lectures, conferences, workshops and educational programmes for enhancement of the area of knowledge identified.
To establish technology incubators located within academic institutions which are approved by the Government/s.
To start educational institutions for imparting formal and non formal education to the public in general and to the rural mass and people.
To seek / raise funds and other essential/s to provide for assistance and distribute to the person/s affected in natural calamities, epidemic and pandemic.
Carrying out or organizing and facilitating research, training, documentation and pilot projects in the areas relevant to the objectives independently as well as in collaboration with other agencies.
Working in co-operation/collaboration with other national and international institutions in furtherance of the Trust's objectives.
Carrying out incidental consultancy work in the areas of studies / appraisals / monitoring and evaluation of the projects which are in furtherance of the objects of the trust, independently or in collaboration with other agencies towards self-reliance of the Trust.
To dialogue with planners, decision makers and administrators to enable the formulation and implementation of community oriented policies.
To acquire / develop any assets, movable and immovable, to accommodate any of the above objects.
Conducting such other activities that may be necessary to further the objectives of the Trust.

Dr. Girish S

Chairman & Managing Trustee

Dr. Girish S, is an exemplary leader with fine blend of technocrat, educationist, social consciousness and human values.

He holds Bachelor degree in Science from Bangalore University, Masters in Philosophy from Sri Venkateshwara University and Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Management from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

He has been in executive team of a 7 year old company, which is into branding and promotional services. He is the brain behind the ‘ArtPlus®’ - National level performing arts competition which has seen one season already.

Being educator for 10 years at MBA course in colleges affiliated to Bangalore University, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Manipal University, and several other autonomous institutions, has good knowledge about pros and cons of running an education institution. During his tenure has teacher, he always wanted to blend the technology into teaching and was against only class-room teaching.

He believes that education has the power to mould a child into a better human being. Education can change the lives of people, a country and the whole world. With a vision to bring out the transition in the present education delivery system, he has taken a first step through ‘The Bengaluru Educational & Social Trust’.

With exceptional leadership quality, he can influence and motivate the young professionals to excel in their activities. He believes in the simple thought of young professionals learning and working together can lead to real world education. His vision to bring in quality in knowledge transformation will change the education environment in rural Karnataka.

Mrs. Pavithra V

Smt Pavithra Kishore, a driven and accomplished trustee who has a passion for education. With a background in business studies, completed her MBA and has channeled her skills and knowledge towards rural education.

As a young women she is a natural leader who has an immense ability to inspire and motivate others. Her strategic thinking and analytical skills have enabled her to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and her creativity has allowed her to think outside the box to find new ways to make a difference.

As a trustee, Pavithra Kishore is committed to using her expertise to help charitable organizations achieve their goals. She has a keen understanding of the importance of education, and she is passionate about supporting organizations that provide access to rural education and skills training for children, women and differently abled individuals.

In addition to all above Pavithra Kishore is also a vocalist in carnatic music and has also held senior leadership positions in corporate sector. Her experience has taught her the importance of collaboration and teamwork, and she is always eager to bring people together to work towards a common goal.

After serving the Karnataka State Government for nearly four decades, he wants to give back to the society in whatever capacity possible. Having held position from SDC to Accounts Officer, his financial acumen and skills were appreciated by his peers. He brings in a vast experience and knowledge about the accounting operations towards setting up an accounting system at the trust level and effective documentation. With a best intention of serving the society at large, he has come on board with the trust.

The Bengaluru Educational & Social Trust was established with the aim of providing a transformational education at School & College level. We believe if the activities are designed with Child – Centric Approach, every child can grasp anything and do wonders. The long term plan is to have a chain of school across rural India and provide them a progressive education. TBS is a family of learners, thinkers and changemakers, who will teach a child how to learn together. With collaborating with several personalities and firms, we aim at providing an opportunity for overall development of a child. The infrastructure and facilities at TBS are planned in such a way that, every child will feel safe and grow in a very conducive environment. The TBS campus we encourage to follow our culture and know its true meaning and importance. At TBS, Kuderu Campus, a child will learn in a natural environment that makes every child attached to their roots.
