GOVERNING COUNCIL
The Governing Council is a body which works towards achieving the vision and mission of the trust. The Governing Council will meet regular, as decided by the trust, to discuss about various strategic decisions and to give direction to school leadership. While all trustees are the members of the Governing Council, the trust will decide on other members from time to time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Council is to work with the head of the schools to set the targets and finalise the strategies in achieving them.
- They are the employing authority for any appointment under the trust.
- Think about the broader goal for the trust in terms of societal responsibilities.
- Develop a broad strategic plan and roadmap for the trust.
ACADEMIC COUNCIL ACADEMIC COUNCIL
ACADEMIC COUNCIL
The Academic Council is a body which is responsible for the maintenance of academic standards in a school. While all trustees are the members of the Academic Council, the trust will decide on other members from time to time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Academic Council will meet on a regular basis to take decision about the academic activities of a school, such as instruction methods, use of different aids, examination and the like.
- Develop an academic plan for the school and roadmap to achieve that.
